Recipe preparation
- 1Heat 1.5 l water for 5 minutes in Couscook pot set on HIGH.
- 2As soon as water bubbles, add vegetable stock cubes, chives cut in rounds, star anise, lemongrass and cinnamon and cook for 15 minutes.
- 3Then lower to MEDIUM. Spread soybeans in upper part of Couscook and cook at same time as stock.
- 4Remove beef from fridge and cut in thick strips.
- 5Place Chinese noodles in a salad bowl. Remove 2 ladles hot stock and pour over noodles.
- 6Cover salad bowl and leave noodles for 5 minutes. Drain noodles and separate with a fork.
- 7Pour into Couscook stock and cook for 5 minutes.
- 8At moment of serving divide beef strips into bowls and pour very hot stock over them and noodles. Enjoy with cooked soybeans.

- 300 g cut of prime or other beef
- 1 star anise
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 sprig chives, 1 young leek or 1 new onion
- 1 sprig lemongrass
- 200g of raw soybeans
- 125g Chinese noodles
- 3 cubes vegetable stock
- 1.5 litre of water
- Tips : add pepper, lime, coriander and mint
