Recipe preparation

  • 1Heat 1.5 l water for 5 minutes in Couscook pot set on HIGH.
  • 2As soon as water bubbles, add vegetable stock cubes, chives cut in rounds, star anise, lemongrass and cinnamon and cook for 15 minutes.
  • 3Then lower to MEDIUM. Spread soybeans in upper part of Couscook and cook at same time as stock.
  • 4Remove beef from fridge and cut in thick strips.
  • 5Place Chinese noodles in a salad bowl. Remove 2 ladles hot stock and pour over noodles.
  • 6Cover salad bowl and leave noodles for 5 minutes. Drain noodles and separate with a fork.
  • 7Pour into Couscook stock and cook for 5 minutes.
  • 8At moment of serving divide beef strips into bowls and pour very hot stock over them and noodles. Enjoy with cooked soybeans.
