1Soak lentils in a salad bowl full of water for at least 1 hour then dry.
2Pour warm stock into cooker bowl. Add rice, lentils, thyme sprig and cloves and stir.
3Close lid and set to “pilaf”, then cook for 15 minutes.
4Stir, cut sausage in thick slices and tomatoes in half and add these ingredients to bowl. Cook for another 10 minutes, add 10 cl of warm stock, if you feel it lacks liquid or rice and lentils are undercooked.
