  • 1Rinse the pears and cut off the base using a small knife to remove the black part. Place the pears one against the other in the pressure cooker.
  • 2Split the vanilla bean into two halves, lengthwise.
  • 3Sprinkle the pears with sugar, pour the Banyuls wine and the water onto the pears and add the spices and pieces of orange zest. Close the pressure cooker and bake on Pressure for 5 minutes.
  • 4Start cooking by pressing the Start/Stop button, positioning the pressure button to Pressure. Open the lid and leave to cool in the juice.
